Monica's 2nd single from The Makings Of Me album. It failed to reach the success of the first single, although only a moderate success. It sampled the 1972 song "The Makings Of You", written & performed by Curtis Mayfield and only peaked at no. 48 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hiphop Songs.
